Mario Osborne Jr. Sentenced for the 2021 Murder of Jarvis Anderson

MOBILE, Alabama –Mario Osborne Jr. was sentenced to Life in Prison, announces Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood.

Earlier this year, Mario Osborne Jr. who was convicted by a jury of his peers for the October 2021 murder of Jarvis Anderson. Mobile County Circuit Court Judge Jill Phillips has sentenced Mario Osborne Jr. to LIFE IN PRISON.  

On October 3, 2021, outside of a Chevron gas station in Prichard, Mario Osborne Jr. walked right up to Jarvis Anderson and fatally shot him in the head. A Mobile County jury deliberated for an hour and a half before unanimously finding Mario Osborne Jr. guilty of Murder.

“Life is prison is a step toward justice for the family of Jarvis Anderson,” says Keith Blackwood, Mobile County District Attorney. “While no sentence can ever fully heal the wounds, it is a measure of accountability and a reminder that the law stands with those who seek justice.”

The State was represented by Assistant District Attorney Nicholas Frisella and Trial Coordinator Brooke Stanford.
