MOBILE, Alabama – The Mobile County District Attorney’s Office Task Force have executed an arrest warrant on James Gill. Gill has 23 active warrants and is charged with 12 counts of Theft 1st and 11 counts of Identity Theft.
The Mobile County District Attorney’s Office began investigating Gill, an unlicensed contractor after several complaints were reported. Gill is suspected of taking money from clients and not completing the job or leaving it inoperable.
“Our office is committed to protecting the citizens of Mobile County by prosecuting those who commit crimes,” says Keith Blackwood, Mobile County District Attorney. “Mr. Gill will have to face his charges in court.”
The DA Task Force is in collaboration with the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, Mobile Police Department, and the U.S. Marshals. The task force will continue to identify and seek out the most dangerous defendants that are an immediate threat to the community who have active arrest warrants and existing court cases.
