MOBILE MAN CONVICTED OF 2 COUNTS OF SODOMY 1st OF A CHILD

MOBILE – Alabama  The Mobile County District Attorney’s Office announces that a Mobile County jury has found Calvin Law guilty of 2 counts of Sodomy 1st of a child.

In 2019, a brave child came forward reporting the abuse of Calvin Law to the authorities. The Child Victim Prosecution Team at the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office and the Child Advocacy Center worked together to bring justice to the young victim.

“Cases that involve any level of harm to a child are reprehensible,” says Keith Blackwood, Mobile County District Attorney. “We will do everything the law allows us to do to ensure those who commit such outrageous crimes against children are held accountable,” says Blackwood.

The State was represented by Assistant District Attorney Theresa Harris and Trial Coordinator Jillian Williams. Sentencing for Calvin Law is set for November 16 at 2 p.m.
