Mobile County DA’s Office Formally Charges a 2014 Homicide Cold Case

MOBILE, Alabama – The Mobile County District Attorney’s Office has executed an arrest warrant on Bridgette Mathews in relation to a 2014 homicide cold case.

The Mobile County District Attorney’s offices believes in May of 2014, Charles Jackson Jr. was run over and killed by Bridgette Mathews in the West Mobile area.

“Multiple agencies have investigated this case, and we are happy that we have secured an indictment with the cooperation of the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office,” says Keith Blackwood, Mobile County District Attorney.

Mathews arraignment will be scheduled at a later date.
