MOBILE, Alabama – A Mobile County jury has rendered a guilty verdict in the State of Alabama’s case against Mario Osborne Jr., announces Mobile Country District Attorney Keith Blackwood.
On October 3, 2021, outside of a Chevron gas station in Prichard, Mario Osborne Jr. walked right up to Jarvis Anderson and fatally shot him in the head.
A Mobile County jury deliberated for an hour and a half before unanimously finding Mario Osborne Jr. guilty of Murder.
“This type of violence will not be tolerated in Mobile County,” says Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood. “We remain steadfast in our dedication to pursuing justice and ensuring that those who commit such brazen acts are held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.”
Sentencing for Mario Osborne Jr. is set March 10, 2025, in Judge Phillips courtroom.
The State was represented by Assistant District Attorney Nicholas Frisella and Trial Coordinator Brooke Stanford.
