Moss Point MS Man Found Guilty of Indecent Exposure

MOBILE, Alabama – A Moss Point, Mississippi man has been found guilty of Indecent Exposure, announces Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood.

A Mobile County jury has convicted Richard Hightower of one count of Indecent Exposure relating to an April 2023 incident on a local college campus. Immediately following the incident, Hightower fled on foot, but officers were able to apprehend him in the woods across the street from campus.

Richard Hightower has two prior convictions of Indecent Exposure for exposing himself at two other Alabama college campuses. Hightower currently has a pending charge in District Court for first degree Voyeurism for a July 2023 incident.

The State was represented by Assistant District Attorneys Coy Morgan and Dru Bishop.

Sentencing for Richard Hightower will be December 11, 2024. Hightower faces up to one-year in jail for this conviction.
