MOBILE, Alabama – District Attorney Keith Blackwood announced that Jeffery Holley was sentenced on March 23, 2026, to life in prison plus thirty years following his convictions for Murder and Robbery in the First Degree.
On February 15, 2023, Jeffery Holley robbed Alan “Bama” Williams of his firearm and shot him in the head. Williams succumbed to his injuries several days later.
In January 2026, a Mobile County jury found Holley guilty on both charges.
On March 23, 2026, Judge Phillips sentenced Holley to life in prison for Murder and 30 years for Robbery in the First Degree. The sentences will run consecutively.
District Attorney Keith Blackwood stated:
“Alan ‘Bama’ Williams was more than a name in a case file—he was a member of this community whose life was taken in a senseless act of violence. This sentence ensures that he will never have the opportunity to harm another family, and it reflects our commitment to standing with victims and pursuing justice wherever the evidence leads.”
The State of Alabama was represented by Assistant District Attorney Eric Van Loock, Trial Coordinator Stacia Rogers, and Victim Service Officer Reagan Frost.
