MOBILE, Alabama – Patrick Lewis was sentenced to Life in Prison plus 30 years, announces Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood.
Earlier this year, Patrick Lewis was convicted by a jury of his peers for the September 2021 murder of North Carolina resident Brian Maynard. Mobile County Circuit Court Judge Ben Brooks has sentenced Patrick Lewis to Life in Prison for the Murder conviction and then 30 years for the Robbery conviction. Those sentences are to be served one after the other.
“Behind bars for life is exactly where this community needs Patrick Lewis needs to be,” says Keith Blackwood, Mobile County District Attorney. “This was a horrific attack on an innocent victim.”
The State was represented by Assistant District Attorneys Stuart Lang and Dru Stuardi and Trial Coordinator Carolyn Lambeth.
Patrick Lewis is connected to another murder, the 2022 murder of Tony and Leila Lewis where he is currently awaiting his murder trial set for September of this year.
